Join a group of paralegals with diverse areas of expertise as they share their professional experiences. The panelists of the Paralegal Roundtable are:

Jackie Kasuboski is a Litigation Paralegal in the General Counsel's Office at Thrivent Financial. She assists with managing litigation brought against Thrivent through their own Dispute Resolution Program, the court system and FINRA. This includes legal assistance in related ediscovery, competing claim court actions, release agreements and fraud. In addition, she collaborates on Thrivent’s electronic legal systems for case management, legal billing and ediscovery. Jackie is a certified e-Discovery specialist (CEDS), WI State Bar certified paralegal (SBWCP) and is currently pursuing her Masters in the Study of Law (MSL) in conflict management from Hamline University in Minnesota.

JoAnn Mancl is a paralegal at Crooks Law Firm in Wausau.  She has 35 years of experience working in the law with 29 years spent working with attorneys who practice in the areas of personal injury or worker’s compensation. 

Sarah Pederson has over 15 years of experience in the legal field, currently specializing in the Workers Compensation practice area. She currently assists multiple attorneys at vonBriesen and Roper, working on over 200 Wisconsin Workers Compensation claims per year, typically representing the insurer and the employer. Sarah is also a State Bar of Wisconsin Certified Paralegal. 

Janice Walden, Law Specialist III, with TruStage for the last 10 years specializing in commercial mortgage loans and contracts.  She has over 40 years’ experience as a paralegal working for law firms in the areas of personal injury/litigation; corporate/business, bankruptcy, and securities plus working for a medical device public company and most recently an insurance company.
